Official Opening of the new St John's Parish Centre!

Our new Parish Centre was officially opened on Saturday 25 October 2008
by Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir, Governor of New South Wales,
and Dedicated by the Bishop of North Sydney,
the Right Reverend Glenn Davies.

Also in attendance were the Mayor of Warringah, Councillor Michael Regan,
and other members of Warringah Council,
the Honourable Bronwyn Bishop, Federal Member for MacKellar,
Mr Brad Hazzard, State Member for Wakehurst,
Mr Bob Waterer (Uncle Bob) Senior Member of the Guringai People,
Superintendent Doreen Cruikshank, Dee Why Police Area Commander,
Representatives from Anglican and other local Churches,
members of the Muslim Community,
and many other distinguished guests, friends, visitors and parishioners!
