2009 marks the 60th Anniversary of Dee Why becoming a full parish in the
Diocese of Sydney (previously it had been a 'Parochial District').
We are holding a series of events and commemorations throughout the year to
mark this milestone, as well as planning new ministries which will
enhance our contribution to the wider community and our continuing mission as a parish.

Fifty years after the 'new' church was completed in 1958 we saw the
exciting completion of our new Parish Centre last year. With new facilities and
new ministries and activities we are very conscious of God's blessings to us, and
looking forward to a new stage in the life of St John's.
