The next meeting will be held on Monday 28 June at 7:30pm in the Parish Centre. The books selected for this meeting are two classics – Kipps: a story of a simple soul by H.G. Wells and George Orwell’s Animal Farm (1946). Kipps, first published in 1905, is a humorous and perceptive social novel. It is generally regarded as a masterpiece. Orwell's main message in Animal Farm is that power corrupts, even when idealism is at play. For further information contact Neralie Cocks (m: 0409 040 489).
