St John’s Book Club: The next meeting will be held on Monday 25th July at 7:30pm in the Parish Centre. The book selected for this meeting is The Promise by Damon Galgut (publ. 2021). The novel, although lighthearted and amusing, revolves around a profoundly moral issue, arising from the institutionalised racism South Africa embodied for so long, and is still trying to neutralise.
